Festivity with Mask

Festivity with Mask “It was the best of times, it was the worst of times ." ~ Charles Dickens, A Tale of two Cities This line from the classic novel, A Tale of two City is  felicitous to describe the 2020 Durga Puja. His gaze fixed towards that molten gold shine hidden beneath gloom. He stared towards that divine smile, which once filled his heart. The man, who once full of pride with his strong heart, now casted off those “crystals of despair”. The child now, pulling his father’s shirt, demanding for the answer. Tiny knot formed on his mouth and struggling, the words rushed out, “Stars, my dear”.

In my lap sat the leaf, reminisces of the intimate folks. And the leaves came tumbling down, I framed them inside my withered heart.
